Associate Operations Analyst at ADB, Kyrgyzstan

Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Associate Operations Analyst in Kyrgyzstan. The duration of this post is for 3 years.

The ADB aims for an Asia and Pacific free from poverty.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Associate Operations Analyst will perform the following functions-

  • Contribute to the preparation/updating/disclosing of project documents/records (eOps/eOperations, mainframe, CMS/Consultant Management System, etc.) by gathering and consolidating data, and preparing draft of various documents.
  • Monitor and analyzes the actual contract awards and disbursements against targets and follows up with the Executing Agencies (EAs).
  • Participate in various missions as required by providing/contributing necessary inputs to the mission documents.
  • Monitor/follow up on outstanding obligations/activities of EAs on project implementation (submission of audited financial statements, monthly/quarterly progress reports).
  • Familiarize EAs with ADB guidelines and procedures and ensures their compliance with project covenants.
  • Assist in reviewing procurement/consultant selection documents, prepares preliminary comments on the documents.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in portfolio management, project administration, or disbursement.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of ADB’s operational processes and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned transactions, areas of analysis and research, which have well-defined scope and steps.
  • Ability to liaise and deal effectively with staff, counterparts in executing agencies and other development agencies.
  • Effective report-writing and communication skills in English and the national language (as required).
