Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Evaluation Specialist in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Evaluation Specialist will perform the following functions-

  • Contributes to cross-country sector-wide evaluations;
  • Contributes to sector assistance program evaluations to feed into country evaluations or validations or as stand-alone sector evaluations;
  • Contributes to the preparation of cross-cutting evaluations; country/regional assistance evaluations and the Annual Evaluation Review report with regards to finance sector and non-sovereign operations;
  • Prepares and/or contributes to synthesis and working papers, and other evaluation products that are sectoral or project-related;
  • Prepares project/program performance evaluation reports and Technical Assistance (TA) performance evaluation reports concerning ADB’s finance sector operations.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in public administration, engineering, finance, business administration, statistics, economics or development studies or related social science fields; or University degree in any of these fields, combined with specialized experience in international and development organizations, may be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in evaluation and finance sector operations; Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in project, sector and country/regional operations (e.g., country portfolio and program, institutions, policy) and development evaluation and outreach in developing countries; Relevant experience in the Asia-Pacific region is desired.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
