HR Specialist, Global Mobility at WBG, Belgrade, Serbia

The World Bank Group (WBG) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of HR Specialist, Global Mobility in Belgrade, Serbia.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The HR Specialist, Global Mobility will perform the following functions-

  • Serve as the principal point of contact on all matters related to the relocation of staff and family to the regions.
  • This includes accurately assessing the relocation needs of staff and families to provide relocation services, including referrals, strategies and support from pre-decision throughout the relocation process, during assignment and repatriation at end of assignment, as well as managing staff expectations throughout the process.
  • Supervise and coach the regional mobility team and oversee the case management portfolio handled by the team.
  • Manage regional relationships and usage of third-party vendors (i.e. Destination Services Providers), who provide accompanied support with respect to home search, schooling and settling-in support and monitor the vendor’s performance.
  • Build strong partnerships and engagement with other units in the Bank to strengthen the delivery of relocation support services in the region including Budget/Finance, GSD Shipping, HSD, HR Client Services, Legal, HR Operations and Country Offices.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Master’s degree in business, management, HR, logistics and 5 years client/service delivery experience, or equivalent amount of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge in international relocation industry and global mobility services is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in HRD policies and benefits is preferred for internal candidates only.
  • Strong understanding of international assignments, including HR, finance and immigration matters related to relocation.
  • Business acumen and ability to build partnerships, work collaboratively and engage others across HRD and other VPUs.
  • Nationality of Serbia.
