Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Portfolio Management Officer in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Portfolio Management Officer will perform the following functions-

  • Prepare portfolio information, analysis, and assist in performing quality assurance on key reports such as the Annual Portfolio Performance Report, Quarterly Portfolio Update, Operations Review Meetings, ADB’s Annual Report and Country Fact Sheets, ADB brochures, Statement of Operations, inputs to Development Effectiveness Review, and background paper of country portfolio reviews.
  • Provide quality assurance on data and support the preparation of reports on project processing, approvals, procurement, and portfolio. Prepares periodic and ad hoc reports to the Board, Management, operations and non-operations departments.
  • Provide data and analytical support for studies and researches.
  • Facilitate the support provided to user departments to update the project performance report including project ratings, covenants, projections for contract awards and disbursements.
  • Provide relevant technical advice to queries from regional and non-regional departments.
  • Administer and manages PFPM’s portfolio data and reports, reconciles financial and non-financial data, and ensures timely update of database information.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Engineering, Economics, or relevant fields, preferably with advanced training.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of ADB’s portfolio management and project administration systems, project performance, portfolio indicators, data sources, definitions, and methodologies, ADB’s operation, financial instruments, business processes, and the project administration instructions.
  • Good knowledge on ADB’s systems (e.g. LFIS, TAIS, GFIS, eOperations).
  • Experience in managing ADB database or application.
