World Health Organization (WHO) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Programme Officer in Geneva, Switzerland. The duration of this post is 2 year.

The primary role of WHO is to direct and coordinate international health within the United Nations system.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Programme Officer will perform the following-

  • Provide executive support to the Director of Strategic Engagement.
  • Support the implementation of the various components of the FC work plan, including monitoring of activities and budget to ensure timely provision of key deliverables.
  • In collaboration with the team, monitor progress against Financing Dialogue 2017 objectives and compile data for management.
  • Coordinate the timely dissemination of information to the various teams supporting the planning of the Financing Campaign.
  • Draft various internal and external communications/materials as assigned, including communications to the various teams, invitations to contributors, meeting reports, presentations.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Bachelor’s degree in health or social sciences, or business or public administration.
  • Advanced degree in international relations or related field.
  • At least 2 years of combined national and international professional experience in project management and policy analysis and development in the field of public health.
  • Experience in organizing multi-stakeholders meetings and working with donors.
  • Expert knowledge of English.
