Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Financial Control Analyst in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Financial Control Analyst will perform the following functions-

  • Review and verify processed claims under the technical assistance projects and ensures accuracy and completeness of documentation, availability and sufficiency of funding, compliance with contract provisions and ADB policies and guidelines, and prompt payment of processed/approved claims .
  • Monitor TA advances and TA closing to ensure that advances are liquidated on time and outstanding advances are cleared prior to TA closing.
  • Plan, organize, and guide the work of processing clerks to achieve peak performance.
  • Assist the National Staff in the review of various TA papers and providing inputs and comments.
  • Review and provide comments on drafts of various disbursement-related documents/reports as directed by supervisors.
  • Contribute to improving the efficiency of disbursement operations by ensuring that records and reports are properly maintained and updated at all times.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, banking, accounting or auditing; preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • 5 years in auditing or accounting with some supervisory role, preferably in a highly computerized environment.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of ADB’s operations, administrative and disbursement policies and procedures.
  • Ability to liaise and work effectively with staff within own location and to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team with solid interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required.
  • Nationality of Philippines.
