United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Supply and Logistics Manager in Denmark.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The National Education Consultant will perform the following functions-

  • Lead, supervise and monitor performance of the Plan & Source Unit, which handles customer service, planning and replenishment of all supplies for all SD-operated warehouses/hubs.
  • Oversee the inventory and stock level of UNICEF standard stock materials in Copenhagen and hubs, in order to ensure an optimum inventory turnover and service level (yearly offtake USD 80-100 million)
  • Responsible for the oversight of the forecasting, safety stock, replenishment, customer service coordination, expediting and inventory management function for all standard stock materials. Analyse and recommend improvements in relation to customer service functions.
  • Manage and analyse changes in demand patterns and recommend changes in LTA and product status.
  • Implement Sales and Operation (S&OP) Strategy, develop S&OP summaries and lead monthly coordination meetings with relevant Procurement Centres units to solve issues related to material sourcing and lead time problems and propose adequate corrective actions.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • A completed Advanced Degree (Master’s Degree) in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible professional work in a commercial/government organization at an international level within Supply Chain Management.
  • Extensive managerial experience and knowledge in process improvements.
  • Experience in commercial activities with the public or private sector in developing and industrialized countries.
  • Fluency in English required.
