Greenpeace International (GPI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Digital Insights Advocate in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The duration for this post is 2 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Senior Digital Insights Advocate will perform the following functions:
- Contribute to the development, review and refinement of global engagement strategies by providing timely input and feedback to manager based on own domain of expertise and experience.
- Lead and be accountable for the development of global reporting and business intelligence processes to effectively report and analyse Greenpeace engagement data at a global scale.
- Develop and maintain automated data ingestion and transformation processes using modern data science languages including SQL, R or Python.
- Responsible for coordinating quarterly fundraising reporting and analysis with the GPI Finance department to encourage consistency and accuracy of information.
- Maintain accurate records of fundraising performance and KPI delivery.
- Coordinate regular social/ media monitoring and tracking of other engagement measures, providing summary reports to the team.
- Produce quarterly reporting to the International Executive Team and Global Leadership Team on performance against plan.
- Support junior analysts on projects through training, as well as methodological and skills development.
- Responsible for the accuracy of this analysis as well as interpreting and analysis making clear and valuable recommendations to Senior Management.
- Responsible for maintaining the definition of engagement metrics and Key Performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure ongoing relevance of KPI’s and their definitions and ensure alignment across the organisations reporting.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- At least 6 year’s experience in a marketing website or digital analyst function, contributing to the monitoring of growth, communications or mobilisation strategies, with a minimum of 4 year’s of experience in Data Analyst role using programmatic analysis technologies and methodologies.
- Expert level understanding of data analytics, engagement data types and appropriate KPI’s.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis programming languages: SQL language, R Programming and/or Python, and expert level understanding of web analytics and experience with Google Analytics ecosystem.
- Ability to translate data conclusions into actionable recommendations and to communicate the conclusions of complex data analysis to non-expert audiences.
- Experience in working with multicultural senior staff and teams and across borders.
- Understanding of business and financial planning and knowledge of Business Intelligence systems
- Mastery of spreadsheet software and similar analytical software.
- Ability to organize and work with large sets of data. Analytical knowledge of database structures and designs including Extract.
- Ability to develop ad-hoc tools for analysis and forecasting.
- Fluency written and spoken English.
- Experience in working effectively to very tight deadlines and under stressful conditions.
