Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Investment Analyst will perform the following functions-

  • Supporting the design, development and execution of the investment policy and portfolio construction for various fixed-income portfolios managed by Treasury focusing on US Treasury, MBS and high grade corporate markets, based on applicable investment objectives and risk tolerance considerations within an asset and asset-liability management framework.
  • Participating in the design, development and implementation of new trading techniques and quantitative models/tools for the investment portfolios.
  • Participating in development and monitoring of credit analysis models.
  • Keeping abreast of market developments affecting different asset classes within and outside of the fixed income sector with a view to identifying investment opportunities and implications for existing portfolios under management.
  • Supporting the periodic review of investment portfolios under management, including preparation and presentation of materials to obtain management and investment committee approval of the investment policy and strategic asset allocation recommendations, performance reviews of client portfolios, and desk management of client implementations and portfolio adjustments with TRE business partners.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience preferably in asset management.
  • Professional certification in CFA is a plus.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills are required, including familiarity with financial modeling techniques especially in quantitative/financial modeling.
  • Strong credit analytical knowledge is required, including ability analyzing credit data and financial information of issuers and determining the underlying credit risks.
  • Knowledge of front office operations related to global fixed income, money markets and other financial instruments.
  • Experience with systems supporting trading activities including processes and controls surrounding the asset management business.
  • Nationality of United States.
