World Food Programme (WFP) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Junior Professional Officer for Monitoring & Evaluation in Khartoum, Sudan. The duration of this post is 2 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Junior Professional Officer for Monitoring & Evaluation at WFP, Khartoum, Sudan will perform the following functions-

  • In line with the new ICSP/CSP requirements, support planning and implementation of monitoring, review and evaluation activities on assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of all food assistance interventions, including M&E narrative, logframe, budget, and M&E plans.
  • Contribute to the analysis of outcome data and recommend improvements to programme interventions and to enhance WFPs ability to demonstrate outcome focused results.
  • Contribute to production of country-level regular monitoring progress reports with status of results.
  • Train international, national WFP staff as well as key cooperating partner staff in appropriate monitoring and evaluation techniques to build capacity, increase awareness on the importance of monitoring and evaluation and encourage accountability for demonstrating results.
  • Serve as focal point for third party monitoring companies/NGOs.
  • Other duties as may be required.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Minimum 3 years of postgraduate professional experience.
  • Advanced university degree in Sociology, Social Development, Development Economics, Performance Management or other relevant field; or First University degree with at least 2 additional years of relevant work experience and training/courses.
  • Proficiency in Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
