Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Project Analyst in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.

The ADB aims for an Asia and Pacific free from poverty.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Project Analyst will perform the following functions-

  • Support PSOD’s project teams in defining suitable indicators to measure development results of proposed transactions.
  • Prepare and comments on design and monitoring frameworks (DMF) ensuring quality of indicators for development effectiveness, i.e.development impact, outcome and outputs.
  • Maintain records needed to monitor compliance with reporting obligations.
  • Check reported data for correctness and completeness and follows up on pending monitoring reports, missing or poor data.
  • Support the preparation of economic cost-benefit analysis for PSOD infrastructure projects following ADBs Guidelines for the Economic Analysis of Projects using existing MS Excel cash-flow models.
  • Conduct sector, country or background research.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned and reflected in the incumbent’s work plan.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in cost-benefit analysis and development impact assessments.
  • Knowledge of development effectiveness concepts, indicators definitions, results frameworks, and ADBs project classifications.
  • Good understanding of project preparation and processing and the project cycle for private sector operations projects.
  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned transactions and areas of analysis with well-defined scope and steps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; and effective report writing skills.
