United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Monitoring Officer in Copenhagen Denmark.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Monitoring Officer will perform the following functions-

  • Support the UNICEF Supply Strategy on Monitoring, particularly concerning the leveraging of experiences in support of UNICEF’s government partners engaged in strengthening their use of data in their supply chains, while also supporting performance measurements, data availability, visibility and monitoring of the UNICEF supply chain.
  • Coordinate support and technical assistance to countries within UNICEF SD and at the global level on strengthening the use of data in their supply chains, among others, by tracking UNICEF’s Data for Management support provided to countries, identifying countries requesting technical assistance related to supply chain data, and provide support to the global cross-organizational working group for Data for Management, including coordination and information sharing.
  • Support the awareness on, advocacy for and communication of the work on supply chain Data for Management by developing communication materials and by deriving and generating and maintaining updated reportable data to help communicate internally and externally to governments and partners on progress, including country study cases.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • A completed 1st University Degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Public Health, Social Sciences, or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible experience in development work, supporting country governments in the areas of supply chain, data availability, monitoring, use of supply chain data, supply planning and performance management.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and other computer applications.
  • Fluency in English is required.
