United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of HR and Payroll Functional Specialist in Copenhagen, Denmark. The duration of this post is 1 year.
The HR and Payroll Functional Specialist will act as a functional knowledge expert, applying strong knowledge of the HR and payroll modules in Unit4 Business World/Agresso.

Key Job Responsibilities
The HR and Payroll Functional Specialist will perform the following function-
- Provide a deep level of functional knowledge and support to the ERP Design team and the Process Coordinator, including provision of advice to improve business processes and ensure operation of the solution for the HR and payroll processes.
- Make recommendations on how to best utilize Unit4 Business World/Agresso HR & Payroll to accomplish strategic business objectives.
- Investigate reported application problems and work with the technical specialists to test, diagnose and isolate the root cause of problems.
- Coordinate further diagnosis and tests as necessary and recommend workarounds where appropriate.
- Ensure system documentation relating to HR and payroll processes are fit-for-purpose and meet UNOPS requirements and objectives.
- Provide technical advice in the development and review of design activities for system improvements, changes, enhancements and upgrades as they relate to HR and Payroll.
- Define and manage system enhancements to the Unit4 Business World/Agresso ERP to streamline operations and usability, including execution, co-ordination of testing, and sign-off.
- Implementation of new modules.
- Standard change implementation.
- Ad hoc change implementation.
- Design and develop reports within the system.
- Unit testing and integration testing.
- Provide key input and assistance for user acceptance testing.
- Assist in the development of training materials and other guidance.
- Adequately document all work activities, including design specifications and test plans.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Masters Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology and Information Systems, HR or Management Sciences is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in combination with additional two years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
- Secondary education in combination with additional six years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible, job-related experience in implementation of business systems and/or processes, preferably in an international development environment, is required.
- 3 years of experience working with design of ERP systems and at least 2 years with Unit4 Business World/Agresso configuration.
- Solid knowledge of the HR and Payroll modules in Unit4 Business World/Agresso is required.
- Experience in the provision of functional analysis and support of an ERP system.
- Demonstrated analytical and strategic skills to provide advice and improve processes or services for HR and payroll.
- Substantial experience in the development, documentation and maintenance of relevant standards, guidelines and procedures for HR and payroll processes.
- Substantive technical experience in Unit4 Business World/Agresso ERP.
- Fluency in English is required.
