United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Human Resources Assistant in Yangon, Myanmar. The duration of this post is 6 months.

The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative, procedural and operational support and assistance to the efficient implementation related to recruitment and on boarding, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Human Resources Assistant will perform the following functions-

  • Draft vacancy announcements for positions within office for review by supervisor to help attract ideal candidates.
  • Liaise with candidates in the various stages of the recruitment process.
  • Prepare formal relevant acknowledgement letters at various recruitment points.
  • Manage the administration of the technical tests.
  • Support on boarding staff as relates to completing GSSC on boarding requirements; liaise with supervisors as regards orientation; prepare welcome packages; assist orient to HR related matters.
  • Familiarize new staff to Agora and the mandatory training requirements.
  • Familiarize new staff to the on boarding /orientation support available through Agora.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible human resources or administrative experience required.
  • Fluency of English and local language of the duty station required.
