The International Labour Organization (ILO) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Communication and Information Management Assistant in Beirut, Lebanon. The duration of this post is 1 year.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Communication and Information Management Assistant will perform the following functions-
- Provide specialized support for the development and dissemination of communication and information products and services ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
- Assist senior management with the internal communications in the Office.
- Keep up to date with ILO world of work themes and developments.
- Prepare and review publications for layout and design in compliance with applicable standards.
- Liaise with ROAS officers and with designers, publishers and printing houses for production of ROAS publications in accordance with ILO publishing and design guidelines.
- Liaise with headquarters on publishing policy issues.
- Provide layout, design and publishing services to the portfolio of specified DC projects for production of the projects’ publications and design materials.
- Provide social media services and maintain and update social media accounts.
- Provide documentation services and maintain and update webpages, databases and web content management systems, classifying information in compliance with applicable standards.
- Liaise with staff and managers for technical content, information on activities and issues of key importance.
- Provide social media, documentation and web content services to the portfolio of DC projects, in coordination with project staff.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Completion of secondary school education.
- Minimum 5 year’s of office support work experience including in communication or information management support services.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.
- Working knowledge of an additional official language of the Organization (French, Spanish) is desirable.
