The World Food Programme (WFP) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Human Resources Officer, Talent Acquisition and Sourcing Specialist in Rome, Italy.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Human Resources Officer, Talent Acquisition and Sourcing Specialist will perform the following functions:
- Contribute to the development and delivery of WFP’s global sourcing and attraction strategy to increase the quality of applicant flow, taking into consideration the need for gender parity and a diverse workforce
Monitor and remain up-to-date with industry trends/technology and build market intelligence to recommend more successful sourcing strategies. - Monitor the external market to identify the most relevant channels, global conferences and events to target candidates, and plan activities accordingly.
- Evaluate and understand where our qualified candidates are coming from and propose sourcing activities based on the insights gathered.
- Collaborate with Functional Units and Hiring Managers, developing an understanding of the department culture and talent profiles, to propose specialized sourcing techniques to ensure an efficient talent pipeline.
- Maintain and share knowledge of best practices and support the development of our Talent Acquisition staff in our Regional and Country Offices as related to recruiting and sourcing matters.
- Continue working on the implementation of WFP’s Employee Value Proposition in collaboration with other teams in HR and Communications.
- Contribute to on-going improvements in the recruiting process to provide a positive candidate experience.
- Enhance WFP’s visibility and reputation in key recruiting channels.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must have:
- Advanced University Degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or another relevant field, or First University Degree with additional year’s related work experience or trainings/courses.
- Minimum 3 year’s postgraduate professional experience in the field of Talent Acquisition at an international level.
- Demonstrate success in developing and deploying creative, effective candidate pipeline development methodologies and effective outreach strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, technology, and sourcing tools.
- Fluency (level C) in English.
- Intermediate knowledge (level B) of a second official UN language Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, and/or Portuguese (a WFP working language).
