United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Nordic Liaison Partnerships Advisor in Copenhagen, Denmark. The duration for this post is 1 year.

UNOPS mission is to serve people in need by expanding the ability of the United Nations, governments and other partners to manage projects, infrastructure, and procurement in a sustainable and efficient manner.

 Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Nordic Liaison Partnerships Advisor will perform the following functions-

  • Conduct donor research.
  • Update outreach plans on donors to define the strategy.
  • Coordinate internally for input on the strategy and related action plan.
  • Assist in the implementation of the action plan.
  • Support communication and discussions with the partner.
  • Communicate outcomes and achievements from the discussions.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Advanced University Degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent) in a related field (preference for law, or public policy) is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with governments (preferably in Nordic countries), negotiating proposal, setting up high level meeting and delegations is required.
  • Experience working with at least 2 Nordic government entities including ministries, embassies and funds on international cooperation and development agenda is required.
  • Experience in the private sector for international cooperation projects (ideally focusing on countries of Nordic development interest, fragile states, and infrastructure or procurement) is desired.
  • Excellent writing and oral skills in English is required.
