The Logistics and Admin Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and delivery of an efficient and effective logistics and admin service in area.

NRC provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Logistics and Administration Coordinator will perform the following functions:

  • Implement NRC’s logistical systems and procedures at area level.
  • Ensure adherence to Logistics and Administration Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements.
  • Provide anti-corruption, transparency and cost efficiency focus in all processes (e.g. in procurement, vehicle management, asset management).
  • Ensure safe and efficient transport of staff and materials/goods.
  • Training and development of logistical team.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports and plans as required.
  • Ensure proper filing of all logistics and Administration documents in the office.
  • Train and support project staff in procurement matters.
  • Supervision of works for payment satisfaction.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts.
  • Effective Procurement Management.
  • Ensure a cost-effective fleet Management.
  • Ensure effective warehouses and stock Management practices.
  • Overseeing the provision of administrative support for the Field office.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have:

  • BA/MA degree in Logistics and supply chain, Business and administration and other related fields.
  • Minimum of three-year professional experience preferably in International NGOs.
  • Computer skills (Common Microsoft Windows and Office applications).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
  • Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Nationality of Ethiopia.
