The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the logistics team in the Beirut Office.

NRC provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will perform the following functions:

  • Provide technical advice and support to implement NRC’s logistical systems and procedures at NRC field office level.
  • Provide follow-up and controls to ensure adherence from all NRC offices to the NRC Logistics Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements.
  • Ensure anti-corruption, transparency and cost efficiency focus in all processes (e.g. in warehousing, vehicle management, asset management).
  • Prepare and implement in coordination with the Logistics Manager a capacity-building plan for training and development of the logistics teams.
  • Follow up on the Warehousing, Fleet Management, and Asset Management processes and plans across NRC Lebanon.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports and plans as required.
  • Ensure proper filing of all logistics documents.
  • Ensure that NRC’s related activities are implemented within NRC’s Protection mainstreaming guidelines and report any breaches/concerns to the line manager and/or focal point for proper action.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics, procurement and contracts management; preferably within a humanitarian context.
  • Experience in supply chain operations; and key institutional donor’s rules and regulations.
  • Experience in fleet, warehouse and assets management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English, written and verbal.
  • Nationality of Lebanon.
