Handicap International (HI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Logistics Coordinator in Erbil, Iraq. The duration of this post is 12 months.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator will perform the following functions-
- Ensuring the respect of HI and donor Logistics guidelines (management of purchase, stock, supply, equipment, vehicle) on Iraq mission.
- Coordinating the opening/closing at logistical level of HI bases in the country if required and ensuring their regular maintenance.
- Supervising and providing a logistical support to the different HI bases and projects in the country.
- Participating in the security management of the mission under the supervision of the HoM.
- Coordinating the logistics activities across the mission by being in support and in close collaboration with the project staff and the support staff.
- Managing directly the logistics national staff.
- Reporting on a regular basis on all logistics activities within the mission to the head of mission.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- High degree diploma is recommended in Logistics.
- Strong experience in the related field (minimum 3 years).
- Experience in NGO necessary, preferably in emergency context.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Ability to work under high pressure with a great level of personal organization.
- Sense of diplomacy.
- Fluency in English (oral and written). Arabic would be an asset.
