The Senior Operations Assistant will perform the following functions-

  • Assist the division’s international staff in the processing of loans, grants, and technical assistance (TA) projects, including updating of eOperations (eOps) database accurately and appropriately for loan and TA projects under processing, monitors progress and status of activities.
  • Ensure all documents and correspondence produced are properly formatted, edited and submitted on time and in line with ADB standards.
  • Provide efficient administrative assistance to Director, CWPF and other designated international staff by maintaining their calendars, arranging appointments, meetings, travel and accommodation as required and in accordance with ADB procedures.
  • Maintain related document records and files for delegated projects.
  • Maintain computer-based information system for project administration matters.
  • Assist in the administration of delegated projects, including evaluations and drafting of correspondence, ensuring all incoming mails are logged, properly distributed and all outgoing mail promptly delivered.
  • Ensure that project related logistical requirements are attended to, including facilitation of project related missions from HQ, meeting arrangement, transportation arrangements, etc.
  • Liaise with government agencies to facilitate and follow up on requests for missions.
  • Coordinate with other assistants in the timely submissions of deliverables and provide backup support depending on division workload.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned and indicated in the incumbent’s workplan.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or equivalent academic qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Good coordination and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise and work effectively with individuals from different professional and cultural background.
  • Proven ability to undertake background research and analysis on difficult but well-defined task, collect and organize required data and information.
