Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Operations Assistant in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Senior Operations Assistant will perform the following functions-

  • Ensure all correspondence and documents for supervisors are prepared in compliance with ADB standards.
  • Respond on behalf of the supervisor to straightforward/routine correspondence and drafts replies on more complex issues in accordance with guidelines.
  • Ensure all incoming mail is properly recorded, distributed and brought to the attention of concerned staff and delivered on time.
  • Monitor progress/status of confidential matters/documents requiring immediate action to ensure timely completion of required action.
  • Provide efficient screening of queries from callers and visitors.
  • Attend to unexpected visitors and ensures that they are referred in a timely manner to the concerned staff/appropriate party.
  • Ensure follow-up of specific queries.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workload within general schedule of work, instructions and standardized practices.
  • Ability to foresee response and implication of own outputs, and to undertake tasks efficiently.
  • Good analytical thinking with ability to make simple causal links, pro-and-con lists and analyses to reach a decision.
