United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Administrative Assistant in Peru.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will perform the following functions-

  • Provide support in the administrative processes of purchases, contracts, trips, events and payments.
  • Provide support in the management of cash transfers to implementing partners: civil society organizations and government institutions.
  • Map the processes of administrative support and program monitoring.
  • Provide support and propose / implement improvements in administrative support and program monitoring processes.
  • Provide support for the management of suppliers in the intervention areas, including the monitoring of payments by petty cash.
  • Provide support in the management of cash transfers to implementing partners: civil society organizations and government institutions.
  • Perform punctual inspections to the implementing partners to verify the compliance of the reported expenses.
  • Other activities that are required.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Complete secondary education, preferably supplemented by university or technical courses in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management or related.
  • Additional studies (desirable): Process improvement, management by results, management control.
  • 5 years work experience in administrative or process improvement issues.
  • Use of ERP systems, use of BPM tools, management of suppliers, organization of training events.
  • Spanish and advanced English.
