Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Principal Portfolio Management Specialist in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Principal Portfolio Management Specialist will perform the following functions-

  • Conceptualize the policy formulation of result-focused project design and management, including improved methods to better measure, monitor and manage for results, in coordination with ADB’s Strategy and Policy Department (SPD) and other relevant departments.
  • Contribute to the development of the PPFD/PFPM work plan, individual work plans, and submissions for the Work Program and Budget Framework and Budget and contribute to reviews and development of ADB policies, guidelines, instructions, processes and other related exercises.
  • Lead the initiation, planning and implementation of policies and associated business processes related to both sovereign and nonsovereign operations and actively participate in building the required systems, manuals, and operating procedures of P3M across ADB.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have-

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences or other related specialized fields.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences or other related fields, combined with specialized experience in similar organization/s, may be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree.
  • At least 12 years’ relevant experience in project and portfolio management, organizational development, policy formulation at senior levels.
  • Experience with ADB or other multilateral lending and nonlending operations with a strong understanding of the project cycle.
