Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Manager- Communication will perform the following functions:

  • Develop content strategy for digital visibility & engagement through blogs, stories on website and social media.
  • Ensure timely delivery/ update of stories/ campaigns/ publications etc.
  • Ensure all communication follows and adheres to brand values and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with various program verticals / states for regular updating of content on all platforms.
  • Support digital fundraising with engaging stories, content & user journeys.
  • Develop social media strategies and campaigns for WWF-India (and associated) social media pages for maximum traction.
  • Support in conceptualizing and executing campaigns like Earth Hour and others.

Applicants must have:

  • Graduate or Post graduate in English Literature/ Mass Communications.
  • About 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven abilities in content strategy and development including for digital, social & print media.
  • Experience in content writing to drive traffic towards the website.
  • Previous experience in working with media to promote stories, events, op-eds etc.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and developing fundraising campaigns for web and social media.
  • Experience in organizing media events, fam trips, press conferences, report launches etc.
  • Experience in working with design, digital and event agencies.
  • Experience in crafting engaging journeys for a total brand experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Nationality of India.
