Creative Associates International is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Program Specialist in Washington DC, United States.
The Program Specialist will support the work of several DC-based project teams in the ED Division, which implements education programs globally.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Program Specialist will perform the following functions-
- Provide daily technical, financial and administrative support to three HQ-based project teams.
- Engage and supports project Consultants by developing and monitoring agreements, coordinating travel and logistics, and facilitating payment requests.
- Review and processes project-related documentation, including invoices and procurement related documents, ensuring transactions are properly documented and files organized.
- Support the preparation, tracking and realignment of project budgets and prepares quarterly financial reviews and projections.
- Support the preparation of project reports, project success stories and other project materials.
- Conduct supplementary research in support of project activities.
- Create and maintains well-organized and current electronic and hardcopy project files.
- Maintain working knowledge of company administrative, financial systems, and operating procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s Degree in international development, administration or closely related field.
- A minimum of one year of administrative experience in a professional services setting.
- Knowledge of donor-sponsored international development programming.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks and negotiate competing interests.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft, SharePoint and Office 365.
- Previous experience working in Nigeria, Afghanistan, or another developing country, preferably for a USAID-funded project.
- Verbal and written fluency in a second language.
