The Programme Associate will be responsible for assisting the implementation, reporting and evaluation of the programmes.

Key Job Responsibilities

The Programme Associate will perform the following functions-

  • Support to formulation of programme strategies and Country programme Action Plan.
    • Collection, analysis and presentation of information for identification of areas for support and programme implementation.
    • Provision of programme and administrative support in the preparation of programme work plans, budgets, proposals on implementation arrangements.
  • Support to Programme Management
    • Creation of projects in Atlas, preparation of budget revisions, revision of project award and project status, determination of unutilized funds, operational and financial closure of a project.
    • Assistance in the monitoring and reporting on various sub-contracted activities and services as required, in accordance to programme needs.
    • Organize, compile and process information from donors, Regional Office and programme team, as inputs to various databases and documents.
    • Support in the tracking and reporting on mobilized resources.
  • Administrative and Financial Management support to the Programmes
    • Support in the review of Financial Reports.
    • Create requisitions in Atlas for development projects registers.
    • Prepare cost sharing and trust fund agreements, follow-up on contributions within the CO resource mobilization efforts.
    • Support all procurement processes as per UN Women rules and procedures and support to implementing partners in the execution of UN Women funded projects and activities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the programme and/or UN Women management.
  • Support to knowledge building and sharing
    • Participatie in the trainings for the operations/ projects personnel.
    • Contribute to knowledge networks and sharing.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences and Social Sciences and other related areas.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant administrative or programme experience is required at the national or international level.
  • Prior working experience for international organizations is an added advantage
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
  • Fluency in English and Albanian.
  • Nationality of Albania.
