Handicap International (HI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Regional Program Coordinator in Dhaka, Bangladesh or New Delhi, India. The duration of this post is 24 months.
The Regional Program Coordinator will be responsible for the security management of the country they are based on.
Handicap International is an independent and impartial aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Regional Program Coordinator will perform the following functions-
- Develop and lead the operational strategy of the “Growing Together” program.
- Ensure the global management of the program and the implementation of the regional component including the management of the regional team.
- Contribute to the technical management of the Program including monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management.
- Ensure the relation with the donor (communication and reporting) and forge networking and advocacy actions with relevant stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Master Degree in the field of International Development, Social Sciences or health/rehabilitation with an orientation on child development, protection or education.
- At least 5 years in program management at senior level.
- Experience in remote management and/or management of multi-country program.
- Demonstrated knowledge of program monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrated skills in representation and negotiation.
- Demonstrated skills in capacity building.
- Previous experience of work in displacement setting and/or a general Knowledge of disability would be an asset.
- Fluency in English.
