Key Jobs Responsibilities

The Project Finance Analyst will perform the following functions-

  • In consultation with the Project Manager, prepare Engagement budget and project budget as per UNOPS Financial Rules and Regulation, cost recovery guidelines and the valid agreement with respective partners.
  • Support engagement amendment, review budget submission and assist to get the budget approved.
  • Support the implementation of Work Packages within the project as and when required.
  • In consultation with the PM and relevant stakeholders, assist in preparing amendments of Agreements and Budget revisions and initiate corrective action when necessary.
  • Review and update of guidelines, procedures in light of changing circumstances or for the purpose of complying, streamlining and/or strengthening of existing financial and budgetary controls.

Applicants must have-

  • CPA or Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, , International Relations, Development Studies or other related field in combination with 2 additional years of relevant experience is required.
  • A first-level university degree in combination with 4 additional years of relevant experience is considered as equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years relevant and progressive professional experience in experience in accounting with responsibility for project accounting and preparation of financial reports in an international organization in providing financial management services.
  • Fluency in English is required.
