International Finance Corporation (IFC) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Strategy Analyst in Washington D.C., United States.
The Strategy Analyst will be a key contributor to the various facets of the Department’s strategy, economics and research work.
IFC’s mission is to end extreme poverty by 2030 and boost shared prosperity in every developing country.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Strategy Analyst will perform the following functions-
- Work closely with economists / strategists within CNGSF as well as regional and IFC support department counterparts.
- Represent the Department as needed and participate in a range of other functions within CNG.
- Contribute to the development of CNG strategy, sub-sector strategies, market/sector analysis, and annual planning documents.
- Coordinate CNG input on key IFC and WBG initiatives.
- Work with other CNGSF team members on the measuring and articulation of Development Results for CNG.
- Interface as needed with other Industry Groups, Corporate Strategy & Budgeting, Chief Economist’s Office and IEG.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Postgraduate degree in finance or economics with a strong grasp of core economic and financial concepts and understanding of development issues and impact.
- 5 years of relevant work experience with private sector in emerging countries.
- Familiarity with infrastructure sectors would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of IFC operations, strategy cycle and corporate information systems would be a plus.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information from diverse sources to compile data and prepare quantitative and qualitative management reports.
- Top notch excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
